Bonded - Eternity Rings for NPCs for Final Fantasy XIV

What is it?

Bonded - Eternity Rings for NPCs is a modification that permanently attaches a ring to an NPC's character model, which will show up in all cutscenes. The idea is that if the player is shipping their warrior with one (or multiple) NPCs, they can have a way to show it off. The ring will be "baked" into the character, meaning it will show up in all cutscenes and instances, regardless of where you go. The ring will be shown as gold or silver depending on your choice.

Why is it special?

The idea of showing the relationship between the player and their NPC in a different way has been around for a while. The problem is that it hasn't really been done in a way that players can see. There are some mods that do it for NPCs, but they don't really show it off to the player. The way I wanted to do it is to make it more obvious that the two are connected, and that the player can influence what happens to their NPC.

How does it work?

It's simple. After you install the app, go to your game and open a cutscene. Choose an NPC to ship your warrior with. The first step is to open the package that contains the ring. Now, you need to select the NPC you prefer.
